A Higher Power

Well, I made it through reading the whole binder.....and I have to say, I'm a little nervous. In the past, I have always been able to meet my physical goals (though I always have had problems with maintenance). The component of really taking the time to explore my inner wellness is what is really freaking me out. There are lots of issues that I know I need to deal with, that are not going to be easy. As well as exercising more, I know that I will be praying more too these next 12 weeks. I'm trying to keep in mind, "you are more than the choices that you've made, you are more than the sum of your past mistakes, you've been remade!"

  1. Judi, you aren't alone! I remember taking my BTWG binder home 2 years ago all excited and pumped up...and then, after going through it I wanted to cry it was so overwhelming! There was so much to take in...and yes, so much of it was outside of just being good to myself with nutrition and exercise. But, I do believe the inner journey leads us to all other paths of value - it can just be a bear walking through the fire to get to those other paths. Still, worth it, as you know! So glad we've met through PRF and I can't wait to see what you discover on your journey!

  2. Judi & Sherri, not alone girls....I really look forward to getting to know you over the BTWG® journey. When meeting @ PR to do the fitness testing last week, I joked with Chris and other participants about working with Chris as a student for 11 years on and off. There are constant journeys and walls that we hit along the way. The most recent barrier is one that I cannot quite remove on my own. After seeing Chris and the group last week & taking my binder home, I too have been overwhelmed. We gotta take this one day at a time & know and trust that we have a spectacular guide that will point the light on our trail.
